Welcome to Cafe Bandal, a delightful café nestled in the heart of Los Angeles on Western Avenue, where sweet cravings are fulfilled with a twist of creativity and warmth. This charming spot is more than just a café; it's a cozy retreat for anyone looking to indulge in unique and scrumptious desserts and beverages.

One of the standout offerings at Cafe Bandal is their signature Cream-Filled Croissant Waffle or Croboong. These delightful pastries, shaped like little fish, provide a tantalizing crunch from the outside, while it's the heavenly filling that truly captivates your taste buds. Imagine biting into the Nutella Banana Croboong, where the luscious Nutella is harmoniously paired with fresh banana slices, all topped with billows of milk-flavored whipped cream for a symphony of flavors that’s simply irresistible (only $6.00). Other mouthwatering fillings like the Chocolate Custard and Red Bean set the stage for a delightful experience.

For a refreshing treat, their smoothies and frappés—each priced at just $6.50—offer a taste of paradise. Whether you opt for a Pistachio, Matcha, or the tropical vibes of Mango, each sip bursts with flavor and is incredibly satisfying.

The café itself radiates a friendly atmosphere, with hints of Korean culture intermingling with modern charm. With a few tables cozy enough to foster conversation, along with board games available for patrons to enjoy, it’s the perfect spot to gather with friends or even to enjoy a peaceful moment alone. Customers rave about the inviting environment and the owner, Jenny, whose passion and kindness truly shine through, making every visit feel personal. Nicole Garcia remarked, “Love, love, love this place!!!! The owner Jenny is so kind and friendly!!” This sentiment is echoed by many who frequent the café, creating a warm community feel.

But don’t just take my word for it; the reviews speak volumes! From the comments about the “best desserts” to how lovely it is to enjoy board games while snacking on delicious treats, the local patrons of Cafe Bandal can’t help but spread the love. As Coaster Conquerer noted, “It seems only the owner works here but they're putting in a lot of effort and passion into the business,” which truly reflects the spirit of a small, dedicated establishment that’s ready to flourish.

If you’re in the area or simply looking for a place that offers not just food, but an experience, Cafe Bandal promises delicious memories and a comforting ambiance. Grab your friends, indulge in the Croboong, sip on a refreshing smoothie, and enjoy a little slice of happiness! You won't regret it.

The cro-boong was tasty, but it seemed like it was sitting on the counter for a long time. If they heated it up before serving it, it would have been tastier. They have a few tables and board games inside.

My sister and I were craving taiyaki after dinner and found Cafe Bandal! We got the pistachio and pecan praline ice-cro-boongs, and they were delicious! We really like the glaze on the outside. Combined with the generous scoops of ice cream — they were the perfect treat. I would come back when I am in the area!

Love, love, love this place!!!! The owner Jenny is so kind and friendly!! We travel a good 20-30 minutes to get here, but it is sooo worth it! There’s games to play when you sit and eat this fabulous goodness! Parking on the street is pretty good. Only once we had to walk a couple blocks, but again it’s so worth it though!!! I love how this is her baby and you can tell that she puts her all into making whatever you end up getting here. Love that! Support your small businesses and women owned at that! Go visit Jenny!!! A+++ all around!

Very good deserts. It seems only the owner works here but they're putting in a lot of effort and passion into the business. I want this place to last long and prosper. I really like the product and want this local business to thrive.

Holy moly! These are some of the best desserts I've ever had. We tried the banana creme and the strawberry creme ones. Soooo good. The owner was so nice as well.

Discovered a cute little café in K-Town! I tried the custard cro-boong, a pastry filled with smooth, creamy custard. It had just the right amount of sweetness, making it absolutely perfect. To top it off, I had a great time playing the board game Azul with my family—such a fun experience!

My friends and I wanted something sweet to eat after brunch and we couldn’t help to stop by here after noticing Cafe Bandal’s vibrant sign. The cafe was still in its soft opening stages and the owner, Jenny, shared that the cafe opened only a few days ago. I’m usually hesitant with new cafes, but I’m glad I stopped by. I’ve never seen nor tasted anything like the cro-boong (Korean taiyaki with a croissant base) before. Not only was it super buttery, the crunch from the sugary crust gave it a nice texture. The combination of the flavors from the ice cream and the cro-boong was so good! I can still remember the taste. My friends and I got both the cream and ice cream fillings. Both were really good, but my favorite was the banana cream filling. It tasted like a banana cream pie but way better. Oh, and it was such a good combo with the cold brew einspanner. The coffee was bitter but the cream on top gave it a perfect balance of sweetness and bitterness. All in all, my experience was great. The cro-boong was delicious. There was plenty of parking and the owner was super sweet. Definitely a must try! You won’t regret it.
